How to fix LSP hijacking
Some spyware installs LSP ( Layered Service Provider) module to your system and can monitor all Internet traffics inbound and outbound. One of the way to fix the LSP hijacking problems is to reinstall TCP/IP Protocol. Follow these steps carefully to reinstall TCP/IP Protocol:
- Go to Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click OK to open Registry Editor.
- Navigate to and delete the following subkeys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2
- Exit the Registry Editor.
- Click Start > Control Panel > Network Connections >Local Area Connection
- Click Properties , then click Install, select Protocol.
- Click Add and click Have Disk.
- Browse to the %Windir%\inf folder.
- Click Open , then click OK.
- Select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), click OK.
- Restart the computer.
