About MasterDialer
MasterDialer, also known as MasterConnector, is an ActiveX installer control for premium-rate phone diallers. It is installed by ActiveX drive-by-download on a pop-up window that imitates a Windows software installation dialogue, from web pages operated by Firstway Medien GmbH and COMFIX newMedia. The software may claim to be a webcam viewer, chat program or eDonkey, depending on the site.

How to Remove MasterDialer?
Follow these steps to manually remove LinkReplacer from your computer.
- Open RegEdit (click Start > Run, and type 'regedit').
- Delete the following keys:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{788a7678-38d7-4eec-9d20-67a86d21a7fd}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{e9c87343-0e63-4aca-9b76-b155333ee67a}
Exit ReEdit.
- Open the Downloaded Program Files folder inside the Windows folder, and delete the control called 'Main class' (AXDownload), 'WebInstall' or 'WebUpdate'.
