About Noptify
Noptify is a internet tracking spyware that is bundled with the welcome CD provided by Verizon. Since it is installed without giving any warnings, computer users may not be able to notice it only if they have a firewall program installed. Once installed it
keeps trying to access the Internet and send tracking logs on the use of the CD rom. Verizon claims the program will remove itself after 20 reboots.
How to Remove
Noptify?
Follow these removal instructions to remove Noptify from your computer:
- Open Task Manager (press CTRL+ALT+DEL).
- Scroll down the process list till you find "
noptify.exe
", select this entry.
- Click End Task or End Process to terminate it.
- Search and delete the file noptify.exe using Windows Explorer.
