Remove ZipClix


About ZipClix

ZipClix is an adware implemented as IE toolbar. It is bundled with adware InternetWasher and SystemSoap. The program may bring advertisements when directed by its controlling servers and is likely to slow down the performance of Internet Explorer.


How to Remove ZipClix ? 

You can uninstall it using its removal option, to do this, click Start > Settings > Control Panel, then double click Add/Remove Prgrams. Scroll down the program list till you find the entry ZipClix. Click on it to highlight the entry, then click Change/Remove, follow the on screen instructions to uninstall it.

Follow these instructions if you want to manually remove this adware from your computer:

  1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
  2. Open a DOS command prompt window (from Start->Programs->Accessories) and enter the following commands :

    regsvr32 /u "c:\Program Files\Zipclix\Zipclix.dll"
  3. Open Registry Editor (Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click Ok).
  4. Locate and delete the following keys (if exist):
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ CLSID \ {319A68DB-06D0-46DA-9F93-A810D5A70836}

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall \ ZipClix \ DisplayName

  5. Reboot the computer.
  6. Delete the folder ZipClix from the Program Files folder ( By default, this is C:\Program Files. ).
