About XXXToolBar

XXXToolBar adds a toolbar to Internet Explorer that allows you to easily find adult materials. The program redirects browser search requests and generates advertisements while browsing.

How to Remove XXXToolBar ? 

Remove this spyware using Pest Patrol

Follow these instructions to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
2. Open Registry Editor (Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click Ok).
3. Navigate to the key:
   'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run' .
4. In the right pane, delete the entries 'AutoUpdater'
5. Delete the following key if present:
   
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\ {018b7ec3-eeca-11d3-8e71-0000e82c6c0d}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\ {5f1abcdb-a875-46c1-8345-b72a4567e486}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\ {69550BE2-9A78-11D2-BA91-00600827878D}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Explorer Bars\ {69550BE2-9A78-11D2-BA91-00600827878D}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\ {69550BE2-9A78-11D2-BA91-00600827878D}
   
6. Reboot the computer.
   
7. Delete the following file from the System folder( The System folder is inside the Windows folder; it is called 'System32' on Windows NT/2000/XP or just 'System' on Windows 95/98/Me):
   
   aupdate.exe
   aupdate.conf
   aupdate.trk
   aupdate_uninstall.exe
   
8. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select Programs tabs and click Reset Web Settings to restore your normal search settings.
