is a spyware that spreads through links in Instant Messenger or if you visit the
talkstocks.net
web page. You will get a link from someone on your buddy list and, if you click on it, you will get infected. May exploit a security hole in Internet Explorer to spread.
How to Remove
Talkstocks ?
Follow these instructions to remove this spyware from your computer:
- Open the Task Manager (Press CTRL+ALT+DEL) .
- Look for the process named
b.exe from the process list, click on it and then on "End Process" to terminate the process.
- Open the Registry Editor ( Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' ).
- Navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- In the right pane, delete the value Antivirus.
- Reboot your computer.
- Use Windows Explorer to search and delete the following files:
b.exe
atrwzpca.dll
qpmytsxh.dll
- Click Start > Settings > Control Panels, then double-click Internet Optiuons . In the space for home page, type in your home page or press ALT+B to set it to blank page.
