About CoolSavings

CoolSavings is an adware that brings adware when using browser. Its controlling site CoolSavings.com seems to be a coupon delivery Web site.

How to Remove CoolSavings? 

Remove this spyware using PestPatrol



Follow these instructions to remove it from your computer:

1. Open the Downloaded Program Files folder from Windows directory, search the file cpnmgr.dll. If it exists, then do the following.
   
2. Click Start > Run, type the following command and press Enter:
   

   regsvr32 /u %Windows%\downloaded program files\cpnmgr.dll
   
   Note: You should replace the %Windows% variable by the Windows directory in your systems(by deafult it is c:\windows).

3. Reboot the computer.
4. Delete the file cpnmgr.dll using Windows Explorer.
5. Open registry editor(Click Start > Run, type 'regedit'), delete the following registry entries to clean up:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\moduleusage\c:/windows/downloaded program files/cpnmgr.dll
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\shareddlls\c:\windows\downloaded program files\cpnmgr.dll
