About Buttman

Buttman is a backdoor Trojan which will run in the background as a server process, allowing a remote user (using a client program) to gain access and control over the computer (include authentication, gateway connections, Explorer, Registry, Screen, Execute, Windows, Transfer).

How to Remove Buttman? 

Follow instructions below to manually remove Buttman from your computer.

1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del), Close the following running programs:
   
   bmclient.exe
   duncntrl.exe
   
2. Find and remove these files:
   bmclient.exe
   duncntrl.exe
   
3. Open the registry editor (Click Start > Run, type 'regedit'). Locate the following key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\,
   in the right pane, delete the entries with the file names as described above.
