About Adware YellowPages

YellowPages is an adware that adds a search bar to your Internet Explorer. The program can be either installed manually or bundled with other third party applications.

How to Remove YellowPages ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:

  1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
  2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry eidtor.
  3. Navigate to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    In the right pane find and delete the entry named 'WinDump' that points to the file "autosearch.dll".
  4. Exit Registry Editor.
  5. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,

    cd %ProgramFiles%
    regsvr32 /u autosearch.dll

  6. Reboot the computer.
  7. Delete the file autosearch.dll from "C:\Program Files" directory.
