About Spyware UnSpyPC

UnSpyPC is a rogue anti-spyware that shows false messages of threats on the computer to urge you to buy their software. It also hijacks your Internet Explorer settings.

How to Remove UnSpyPC ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot your computer to safe mode (press F8 when Windows start).
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry editor.
   
3. Navigate to the following key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value 'UnSpyPC'.

4. In the right pane find and delete any entries that looks like the following:
   "DCC_send", "LOPTCON " , "typeconf"," utsgmon " , "newbreed".
   
5. Navigate to and delete the following key:
   

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions\ {BF69DF00-4734-477F-8257-27CD04F88779}
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UnSpyPC
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\UnSpyPC
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\UnSpyPC

6. Exit Registry Editor.
   
7. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select the Programs tab and then click on the "Reset Web Settings" to reset your Internet Explorer settings.
8. Find and delete the following folder: "%ProgramFiles%\UnSpyPC\"
9. Reboot your computer.
