About Adware TVMedia

TVMedia is a search-hijacker and adware that generates pop-under ads. The program drops the file tvm.exe into your system and hijacks Internet Explorer search functions.

How to Remove TVMedia ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to Safe Mode (Press F8 when Windows starts).
   
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Registry Editor.
   
3. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'TV Media' that points to the file 'tvm.exe'.
   
4. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'TV Media' that points to the file 'tvm.exe'.
   
5. Exit Registry Editor.
   
6. Open a Dos command prompt (from Start > Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt). Enter the following commands:
   
   cd ' C:\Program Files\TV Media'
   regsvr32 /u TvmBho.dll
   
7. Open Windows Explorer, delete the folder 'TV Media' from 'Program Files' directory.
   
8. Reboot the computer.
