Sqwire Toolbar
Sqwire Toolbar is a variant (or descendant) of adware Xupiter.This program adds a toolbar to your Internet Explorer. It also changes your browser home pages and search settings, and contacts to its controlling server to deliver dvertisements. This adware may be installed by some third party applications.

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.
Follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:
- Reboot the computer to safe mode (Press F8 key when windows start.).
- Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,
cd "%ProgramFiles%\Sqwire"
regsvr32 /u s.dll"
regsvr32 /u t.dll"
regsvr32 /u u.dll"
- Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry eidtor.
- Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
In the right pane find and delete the following entries:
"SQInstaller" = "SQInstaller.exe"
"SQConfigChecker" = "cc.exe"
"XupiterStartup" = "%ProgramFiles%\Xupiter\XupiterStartup.exe"
"XupiterCfgLoader" = "%ProgramFiles%\Xupiter\XTCfgLoader.exe"
"SQUpdatesChecker" = "%ProgramFiles%\Sqwire\uc.exe"
"SQConfigChecker" = "%ProgramFiles%\Sqwire\cc.exe"
"XupiterToolbarLoader" = "%ProgramFiles%\Xupiter\XupiterToolbarLoader.exe"
- Exit Registry Editor.
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select Programs tab, click Reset Web Settings buttons.
- Delete the folder "%ProgramFiles%\Sqwire" and "%ProgramFiles%\Xupiter".
