About Adware SpyAxe

SpyAxe is a Rogue Anti-Spyware product. Once installed, this program will generate browser popups that lead to www.updateyoursystem.com. On the page it says that your system is under control of remote computer or is on very high risks and then tries to enforce you to purchase it.

How to Remove SpyAxe ?

Remove this spyware using XoftSpy.

Follow these removal steps to manually remove this adware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to safe mode (click F8 when Windows start).
   
2. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,
   

   cd %systemroot%\system32\
   regsvr32 /u svchosts.dll
   attrib -r -h svchosts.dll
   attrib -r -h hp*.tmp
   del /q svchosts.dll
   del /q hp*.tmp,
   
   regsvr32 /u webconm.dll
   attrib -r -h webconm.dll
   del /q svchosts.dll
   
   regsvr32 /u replmap.dll
   attrib -r -h replmap.dll
   del /q replmap.dll

3. Open Windows Explorer, open directory "%WinDir%\System32". Find and delete the folder "1024".
   
4. Delete the folder "C:\Program Files\SpyAxe" and all the contents in it.
5. Reboot the computer.
