Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to Safe Mode (Press F8 when Windows start)
2. Open a Dos command prompt (from Start > Programs>Accessories>Command Prompt). Enter the following commands:
   
   For Windows 98/Me,
   cd %WinDir%\System\
   regsvr32 /u ieasst.dll
   regsvr32 /u iecomp.dll
   del ieasst.dll
   del iecomp.dll
   
   Or for Windows 2000/XP,
   cd %WinDir%\System32\
   regsvr32 /u ieasst.dll
   regsvr32 /u iecomp.dll
   del ieasst.dll
   del iecomp.dll
   
3. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Registry Editor.
4. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'absr' , if it exists.
   
5. Exit Registry Editor.
   
6. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel. Double click Internet Options. Select Programs tab, then click the button 'Reset Web Settings' .
   
7. Reboot the computer.
