How to Remove SearchMeUp ?

Remove this spyware automatically

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to Safe Mode (Press F8 when Windows starts).
   
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Registry Editor.
   
3. Navigate to and delete the following registry key:
   
   'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\searchmeup.cc'
   
4. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named ' SysTime' that points to the file ' systime.exe ' if it exits. .
   
   Delete the value named ' Win32 Explorer' that points to the file 'explorer32.exe' if it exits.
   
5. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'SysTime' that points to the file 'systime.exe' if it exits.
   
   Delete the value named ' Win32 Explorer' that points to the file 'explorer32.exe' if it exits.
   
6. Exit Registry Editor.
   
7. Reboot the computer.
   
8. Delete the following files if they exist:
   
   C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\systime.exe
   C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\explorer32.exe
   
9. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, double click Internet Options, select Programs tab and click on the 'Reset Web Settings' button.
