How to Remove PopMonster ?

Follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:

1. Open Task Manager ( press CTRL+ALT+DEL ).
2. Ffrom the processes list, select and terminate the process ' iefeatures.exe' and ' MSBB.EXE'.
   
3. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named iefeatures that points to the file iefeatures.exe.
   
   Delete the value named msbbthat points to the file msbb.exe.
   
   Delete the value named MSVersion.
   
4. Exit Registry Editor.
   
5. Open a Dos command prompt window (from Start > Programs > Accessories ), enter the following commands:
   
   For Windows 2000/Xp,
   
   cd %WinDir%/System32
   regsvr32 /u searchbar.dll
   
   Or for Windows 98/Me,
   cd %WinDir%/system
   searchbar.dll
   
6. Reboot the computer.
   
7. Open Windows Explorer, search for and delete the following files:
   
   iefeatures.exe
   iefeaturesversion.exe
   msbb.exe
   searchbar.dll
