PS Guard is a rogue anti-spyware program. It gets installed stealthily, hijacks your desktop and Internet homepages, and generates annoying advertisements.

How to Remove PSGuard ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to manually remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to safe mode (click F8 when Windows start).
   
2. Search for and delete the following files:
   
   intell32 .exe
   intel32.exe
   
3. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,

   cd %programfiles%\psguard
   regsvr32 /u wndsystem.dll
   regsvr32 /u core.dll

4. Delete all the files within the folder of "PSGuard" from "Program Files" directory.
   
5. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry editor.
6. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select the Programs tab and then click on the "Reset Web Settings" to reset your Internet Explorer settings.
7. Search for and delete all the entries with "PSguard".
