Kidda is an adware implemented as Internet Explorer BHO ( Browser Helper Object). The adware may change the Internet Explorer homepage and security settings without user notice.

How to Remove Kidda ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

To manually remove this adware, please follow these instructions:

1. Unregister the dll files. To do this, open a Dos command prompt window ( from Start > Programs > Accessory ), enter the following commands:
   
   cd %ProgramFiles%\Kidda Toolbar\
   regsvr32 /u kidda.dll
   
2. Open the Registry Editor (Click Start > Run, type 'regedit').
3. Navigate to the following entry:
   
   KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_LOCALMACHINE_LOCKDOWN
   
   In the right pane, delete the value: "iexplore.exe" = "0"
   
4. Start Windows Explorer, go to the "Program Files" folder, find and delete the folder "Kidda Toolbar" and all the content within it.
   
5. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, double click Internet Options, select the Programs tab, then click on the Reset Web Settings button to reset your Internet Explorer settings.
6. Reboot the computer.
