About Adware FFToolbar

FFToolbar, also known as FastFinder Toolbar, is an adware that adds a toolbar to Internet EXplorer. This adware monitors and redirects browser requests so as to generate advertisements.

How to Remove FFToolbar ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot computer to safe mode (Press F8 before Windows starts up).
2. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, click Add/Remove Programs. From the list select "FastFinder" , click Remove or Change to uninstall it.
3. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,
   

   cd "%ProgramFiles%\FastFinder\"
   regsvr32 /u FFToolBar.dll
   cd %WinDir%
   regsvr32 /u omi.dll
   del omi.dll
   del nnmgr.*

4. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Registry Editor.
5. Navigate to the following key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   
   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value ' ShowFF', ' CJET' and/or 'nnmgr'.

6. Delete the folder "%ProgramFiles%\FastFinder\" and all the contents within it.
   
7. Reboot the computer.
