About Adware EliteMediaPop

EliteMediaPop, also known as EliteMedia, is an adware that displays popup advertisements either when you are browsing or not. It also changes the security setting of your Internet Explorer and adds its website urls to trusted zone.

How to Remove EliteMediaPop ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to manually remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to safe mode (click F8 when Windows start).
   
2. Go to Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click OK to open Registry Editor.
   
3. Navigate to the key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\' .

   In the right pane, delete the entry 'elitemedia' that points to the file "elitemediapop.exe".

4. Close Registry Editor.
5. Use Windows Explorer to find and delete the the file 'elitemediapop.exe' from 'Windows' or 'Winnt' folder.
   
6. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select the Security tab and then select the "Trusted sites" icon. Click the Sites button to open the Trusted Sites dialog. Find and remove the following urls from the trusted sites:
   
   *.elitemediagroup.com
   *.elitemediagroup.net
   
   Click OK to save the changes.
   
7. Reboot the computer.
