DashBar is an adware implemented as IE toolbar. This program is published by GAIN system. And may displays advertisements from GAIN advertisement publishing networks.

How to Remove DashBar ?

Remove this adware using Spyware Doctor.

Please follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:

1. Close all open IE windows.
2. Go to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
3. Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon.
4. Find the DashBar Toolbar in the program list.
5. Select it and click on the Add/Remove or Change/Remove button.
6. Follow the on screen instructions.

If the above removal instructions fail, try the following steps:

1. Close all open IE windows.
2. Open a Dos command window (go to Start > Run, type 'cmd' ( for Windows XP/2000 ) or 'command '( for Windows 98/Me ) and click OK).
   
3. Enter the following commands:
   
   regsvr32 /u %ProgramFiles%\DashBar\DashBar30.dll
   regsvr32 /u %ProgramFiles%\DashBar\DashBar.dll
   
4. Use Windows Explorer to open Program Files folder. Find and delete the folder DashBar and all the contents in it.
