How to Remove CoolWebSearch xpsystem ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot your system to Safe Mode (Press key F8 when Windows start).
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to the following key:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Run.
   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value 'xpsystem'.
   
4. Navigate to the following key:
   'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ Run.
   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value 'xpsystem'.
5. Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {5321E378-FFAD-4999-8C62-03CA8155F0B3}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {5321E378-FFAD-4999-8C62-03CA8155F0B3}
6. Go to the 'Services' directory under the System directory (C:\Windows\system32 (on Windows XP), C:\Winnt\System32 (on Windows 2000) or C:\Windows\System (on Windows 98/Me)), find and delete the following files:
   SERVICES.EXE
   Y.EXE
   
7. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel, double click Internet Options, select Programs tab, click on the button Reset Web Settings.
