ContextUAd is an adware that generates popup advertisements in Internet Explorer browser. It may also download and install other adware and spyware on your system.

How to Remove ContextUAd ?

Remove this adware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these steps to remove this adware from your computer.

1. Close all open Internet Explorer windows.
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry editor.
3. Navigate to the following entries:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
   
   In the right pane, find and delete the entries with the following values:
   
   devmsgr.exe, msidev.exe, tt87.exe, uuecode.exe,
   
4. Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:
   
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BTTSPObj.BTTSPObj
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\BTTSPObj.BTTSPObj.1
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{57A70350-87D9-4EA2-B3AC-C1C1B5296035}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\{57A7034F-87D9-4EA2-B3AC-C1C1B5296035}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\mxvc
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{57A70342-87D9-4EA2-B3AC-C1C1B5296035}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{57A70350-87D9-4EA2-B3AC-C1C1B5296035}
   
5. Exit Registry Editor.
   
6. Open Windows Explorer, search for and delete the following files from Windows System32 or System folder.:
   
   devmsgr.exe
   mpegcore.dll
   winprox.dll
   msidev.exe
   tt87.exe
   uuecode.exe
