About Adware ClockSync

ClockSync is an internet time synchronizing program. The program is bundled with an adware named Save! to display popup advertisements. The Save! software monitors each URLs associated with web pages visited, search terms and web page contents, and send them to its controlling server to retrieve targeted advertisments.

How to Remove ClockSync ?

To uninstall the program, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. From the programs list, select the entry ClockSync, click Change/Remove to uninstall it.

Follow these removal steps to manually remove this adware from your computer:

1. Open Task Manager (by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL) .
   
2. From processes list, select and terminate the processe clocksyncinst.exe.
   
3. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' to open the Regsitry Editor.
   
4. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'ClockSync', if it exists.
   
5. Navigate to the following registry key:
   
   'HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
   
   In the right pane, delete the value named 'ClockSync', if it exists.
   
6. Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINEsoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionuninstallclocksync
   
7. Close Registry Editor.
   
8. Use Windows Explorer to open the Program Files directory (by default, this is C:Program Files ), delete the folder ClockSyncand all the files within it.
