About Adware CashBar

CashBar is an adware program that displays a horizonal bar on the bottom of your screen and displays sponsored advertisements whenever you are online. by cashsurfers. For every banner displayed you receive a portion of the revenue. From its website ( cashsurfer.com ) it seems that some people really earns a few bucks, but I don't have the chance to test it :)

How to Remove CashBar ?

Use the following removal steps to remove this adware:

1. Close the running CashBar application.
   
2. Click Start > Programs >CashSurfers, select Uninstall.
   
3. Follow the prompt to uninstall the program.
   
4. To manually remove the CashSurfers
   Internet Explorer search feature, you need to unregister the dll file.
   
5. Open a Dos prompt command window (From Start > Programs > Accessories).
   
6. Enter the following commands:
   c:\windows\system\regsvr32 /u c:\progra~1\cashsu~1\search~1.dll
