About Adware CashBack

CashBack is an adware implemented as Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object. The adware monitors the contents and keywords in the web sites being visited and generates popup advertisings to your computer.

How to Remove CashBack ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these steps to remove CashBack adware:

1. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry eidtor.
   
2. Navigate to the following key:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
   Run.
   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value 'CashBack' , which points to the file "C:\Program Files\CashBack\bin\cashback.exe" .
   
3. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,

   For Windows 95/98/Me:
   cd "%WinDir%\System"
   regsvr32.exe" /u mscb.dll
   
   Or, for Windows NT/2000/XP:
   regsvr32 /u "%WinDir%\System32\mscb.dll"

4. Reboot the computer.

5. Delete the folder "C:\Program Files\CashBack\" and all the content within the folder.

6. Delete the file "mscb.dll" from the System directory.
