About Spyware BlazeFind

BlazeFind is a spyware implemented as Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object. This program redirects browser search requests to its controlling server and displays popup advertisements on your computer. It may also slow down the performance of Internet Explorer.

How to Remove BlazeFind ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to Safe Mode (Press F8 when Windows starts).
   
2. Open a DOS command prompt window ( Start > Run , type 'cmd' (on Windows NT/2000/XP ) or 'command' (on Windows 95/98/Me)) and enter the following commands,
   

   For Windows 2000/XP,
   
   cd %Windir%\System32
   regsvr32 /u iesearchbar.dll
   regsvr32 /u 2_0_1browserhelper2.dll
   regsvr32 /u 3_0_1browserhelper3.dll
   regsvr32 /u 5_0_1browserhelper5.dll
   del *_1browserhelper*.dll
   del iesearchbar.dll
   
   Or for Windows 98 system,
   
   cd %Windir%\System32
   regsvr32 /u iesearchbar.dll
   regsvr32 /u 2_0_1browserhelper2.dll
   regsvr32 /u 3_0_1browserhelper3.dll
   regsvr32 /u 5_0_1browserhelper5.dll
   del *_1browserhelper*.dll
   del iesearchbar.dll

3. Navigate to the following key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.

   In the right pane find and delete the entry with the value 'Windows SA' that points to the file 'omniscient.exe '.

4. Open 'Program Files' directory, find and delete the folder ' WindowsSA' and all the content within it.
   
5. Reboot the computer.
