About IEPageHelper Adware
IEPageHelper is an adware implemented as IE Browser Helper Object.
Once installed, it will highlight words on Web pages and display targeted
text advertisements when you move the cursor over the words.
How to Remove IEPageHelper ?
You can remove this adware
using Pestpatrol.
To manually remove this adware, please follow these instructions:
- Unregister the dll files. To do this, open a Dos command prompt
window(from Start > Programs > Accessory), enter the following
commands:
For Windows 2000/XP/NT,
cd %WinDir%/System32
regsvr32 /u inetdctr.dll
regsvr32 /u bho.dll
Or for Windows 98/Me,
cd %WinDir%/System
regsvr32 /u inetdctr.dll
regsvr32 /u bho.dll
- Delete the file bho.dll and/or inetdctr.dll mentioned
above.
- Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click OK to open Registry
Editor.
- Delete The following keys if they exist:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Browser

- Close Registry Editor.
Remove
this adware using Pestpatrol.
