About Adware Adlight

Adlight is an adware and browser hijacker implemented as IE browser helper object. Once installed it changes your browser homepage and redirects search requests to its controlling server. It may also slow down the performance of your IE.

How to Remove Adlight ?

Remove this adware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to manually remove this adware:

1. Reboot the computer to Safe Mode. (Press F8 before Windows starts).
2. Go to Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click OK to open Registry Editor.
3. Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:

   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\adlight2.adlight
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\adlight2.adlight.1
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{b98271ab-286e-4421-87f9-14c3aaac079f}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{bdfd403f-02cb-4f53-9336-560176f28e9a}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\interface\{22c97fe4-2ae6-4c11-9607-903947b0d33e}
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\typelib\{94f18e9a-00c4-48c7-a768-75f7222e4f88}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\browser helper objects\{bdfd403f-02cb-4f53-9336-560176f28e9a}

4. Search for and delete the following files:

   iwatch.dll
   adlight2.dll
   down.exe

5. Reboot the computer.
