About Adware AdShooter

AdShooter is an adware program implemented as Internet Explorer BHO (Browser Helper Object). It will contact its controlling server ( www.adshooter.com ) to download and display advertisements when the webpages you visited match its keyword list.

How to Remove AdShooter ?

Remove this spyware automatically

To uninstall the program, click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs. Select the entry named 'CPR' or 'AdRoar', and click Add/Remove to uninstall it.

To manually remove this adware, please follow these instructions:

1. Unregister the dll files. To do this, open a Dos command prompt window(from Start > Programs > Accessory), enter the following commands:
   
   For Windows 2000/XP/NT,
   
   cd %WinDir%\System32
   regsvr32 /u syssfitb.dll
   
   Or for Windows 98/Me,
   
   cd %WinDir%\System
   regsvr32 /u syssfitb.dll
   
2. Open the Regsitry Editor (Click Start > Run, type 'regedit').
   
3. Delete The following keys if they exist:
   
   HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{c109664b-ceb1-420b-b353-d55a561536dd}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\clsid\{c109664b-ceb1-420b-b353-d55a561536dd}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\classes\clsid\{c109664b-ceb1-420b-b353-d55a561536dd}
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar\{c109664b-ceb1-420b-b353-d55a561536dd}
   
4. Reboot the computer.
5. Open the System folder( C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP)) and delete the following file:
   syssfitb.dll
