About Adware AdServe

AdServe is a browser hijacker that alters the web page you are viewing by adding hot links on the text of the page. When you click on the link it redirects the browser to some ad page. It seems that this adware also generates popup ads.

How to Remove AdServe ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Adserve copies many files with random lettered name into your system, so it is not easy to find and get rid of them. You can try the follow these removal steps to remove this adware from your computer:

1. Reboot the computer to safe mode (Press F8 key when windows start.).
   
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry eidtor.
   
3. Navigate to the following key:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   
   In the right pane find and delete any entries with that points to files named with random letters , such as ' C:\WINDOWS\System32\Dxa0o.exe', ' C:\WINDOWS\System32\ MikQMgDx.exe', 'C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp\GnCk7S9F.exe'.
   
4. Exit Registry Editor.
   
5. Delete the file you find in step 3.
6. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, select Programs tab, click Reset Web Settings buttons.
