About Adware AdDestroyer

AdDestroyer is an adware that claims to be a spyware remover. The program automatically runs when the system starts. It also contacts its controlling server to download updates strealthly. In some version the program may also generate popup ad windows enticing you to purchase their program.

How to Remove AdDestroyer ?

Remove this spyware automatically

Try the following steps to remove this program:

  1. Clcik Start > Settings > Control Panel, double click Add/Remove Programs.
  2. From the program list, select AdDestroyer.
  3. Click Add/Remove or Change/Remove.
  4. Open the registry editor(Click Start > Run, type 'regedit')/
  5. Navigate to the following entries:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
  6. In the right pane, delete the entry with the value AdDestroyer.
  7. Open a Dos command prompt window(from Start > Programs > Accessory), enter the following commands:

    cd %WinDir%/System32
    regsvr32 /u popoops.dll
    regsvr32 /u popoops2.dll
    regsvr32 /u swlad1.dll
    regsvr32 /u swlad2.dl
  8. Delete the above dll files.
  9. Delete the folder AdDestroyer from Program File directory.
