About Adware ABetterInternet

ABetterInternet is an adware that generates targeted popup ad windows based on the urls and web pages you visit. According to its vendor BetterInternet, the adware redirect certain URLs including your browser default 404-error page to or through the program. It will also automatically update itself and install added features or functionality without user's notice.

How to Remove ABetterInternet ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Try the following steps to remove this program:

1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Click Add/Remove Programs.
3. From the program list, select the entry 'WIN32 BI Application', then click Change/Remove to remove the program.

If the above removal step does not work, you can manually remove this program:

1. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click Ok to open the Registry Editor.
2. Search for and delete the following entries:
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {000006B1-19B5-414A-849F-2A3C64AE6939}
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {000006B1-19B5-414A-849F-2A3C64AE6939}
   
3. Reboot your computer.
4. Open Dos command prompt window (Start > Run, type 'cmd' or 'command').
5. Enter the following commands:
   cd %WinDir%
   del bi.dll
6. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options, Select the Programs tab and then click Reset Web Settings buttons.
