About Adware ABCSearch4u

ABCSearch4u is a very annoying browser hijacker that redirects your browser home page and searches to its controlling site ABCSearch4u.com. It copies random named executable files into Windows directory and adds start up entries in system registry so that it will be run when system boots up.

How to Remove ABCSearch4u ?

Remove this spyware using Spyware Doctor.

Follow these removal steps to remove this spyware from your computer:

1. Reboot your computer to Safe mode (Press F8 when Windows starts) .
   
2. Click Start > Run, type 'regedit', and click Ok to open the Registry eidtor.
   
3. Navigate to the following key:
   

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
   
   In the right pane find and delete all the entries with the value '"C:\Windows\????????.exe", where "?" denotes any random letters. For example, "C:\Windows\jbitixa.exe" .

4. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel, double click Internet Options，select Programs tab, then click on Reset Web Settings button, click Ok on the opened dialog.
   
5. Reboot the computer.
