2020search is a search hijacker implemented as Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object. The spyware redirects browser search requests and unknown domain name searches to its controlling server. 2020Search may also download other software without user notices.

How to Remove 2020search ?

Remove this spyware automatically

To manually remove this spyware, please follow these instructions:

1. Reboot the computer to safe mode (Press F8 when Windows start).
   
2. Open the Regsitry Editor(Click Start > Run, type 'regedit' and click OK) .
   
3. Navigate to and delete the following registry keys:
   
   HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar \ WebBrowser \ {4E1075F4-EEC4-4A86-ADD7-CD5F52858C31}
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar \ {4E1075F4-EEC4-4a86-ADD7-CD5F52858C31}
   
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {4E1075F4-EEC4-4a86-ADD7-CD5F52858C31}
   
4. Find and delete the following files from '%WinDir%' directory and/or '%WinDir%\System32' directory. ( Notice: %WinDir% denotes Windows directory, bydefault this is C:\Windows or C:\Winnt) :
   
   2020Search.dll, 2020install.exe, mssvr.exe, svchost.exe, irsetup.exe, bjam.dll, mspphe.dll
   
5. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options. Select Programs tab and click on the button Reset Web Settings.
