About Xzoomy
Xzoomy.com is a search engine directory page that is set as your home page by a site called FreeScratchandWin.com. When you visit the site, you are requested to download their program to play their web scratchcards game. Although you have to agree to their Terms of Service before installing, it appears the software can install by itself through another method as well.
How to Remove Xzoomy?
Remove this spyware using PestPatrol
Click Start | Run, type Regedit. Search the following following keys and delete them manually:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\FSW
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\
{20A03A4C-9FAF-45D5-A5C2-B6C49774E03C}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\
{99B0B113-6F25-49C9-8ECF-2FDDD3EDFF6A}
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\FSW_beta1.Application
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Fswinst.Application
Next, reboot Windows and delete the 'FSW' folder inside 'Program Files'.
Finally, go to Internet Options and reset your home page and search settings
1) Click on Tools
2) Click on Internet Options
3) Click on Programs
4) Click on Reset Web Settings
5) Click on OK
