xaudio.exe is service process installed along with the driver for Conexant modem which is most liked found in Acer laptop. This process allows you to use your modem as a speaker phone. The file is located in the folder of "C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS". This is a nonessential process. If you don't use any features described as above, you can disable this service process. To disable this service process, go to Control Panel > Services, locate the service named XAudioService, double click it and change the Startup type to Manual. |
