File winampa.exe is related to Nullsoft Winamp mp3 player software. It displays a system tray icon that allows you to launch Winamp from system tray. This is a nonessential program and can be disabled to save computer resources.
Notice: A spyware named WinAmpa also copies winampa.exe into %windows%\, and generates RUN key entry in system registry. If you had never installed Winamp on your system, but found winampa.exe running in process list, it is very likely that your system has been affected by this malware.
