Taskmon.exe is the Windows Task Monitor for Windows 98 or Windows Me. It should not exist in other operating system later than Windows 2000. If this file exists in Windows 2000\XP\2003 system and is located at "%Windir%\System32" directory, it is related to viruses such as Mydoom or Mimail. You should then immediately remove it from your computer. |
