NMIndexingService.exe is related to Ahead Nero Multimedia Applications. It is used for media files quick indexing. This file is normally located in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\Lib\". Like most of the indexing programs bundled with many applications, it is not that useful as claimed to be. You can disable it to save computer resources. To disable the NMIndexingService.exe, go to Services in Control Panel, locate the NMIndexingService and change the Startup type to Manual. |
