File blindman.exe is related to the SpyBot Search & Destroy application, which is one of the most widely installed free spyware removal utility. The file is located at the Spybot-S&D folder. It is a dummy program that do nothing more than ending itself after being launched. The purpose for this program is to disable startup entries from the Autostart group (found in your Start menu under Programs) by renaming the files with the '.lnk' extension to '.disable' extension, thus the system will run the doing-nothing program blindman.exe.
Simply put, it is a harmless program and should not be removed if you want your SpyBot S&D to work properly. |
