Description:

IEDriver is an adware component that downloads and displays advertisements. The program creates the folder named 'iedriver' in %System% directory (By default, this is c:\Windows\System in Windows 98/Me, c:\Winnt\System32 in Windows 2000\XP). This folder has the Hidden attribute set. The program also adds an entry in the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run' to launch itself at system startup.
